Pod Squad: Sen Glenn Wakai Talks About His Outreach To Micronesia

He’s a state senator, a former journalist and since 2004 the head of Reach Out Pacific, a philanthropical organization that brings books, medical supplies and other material to Micronesia.

Glenn Wakai joins Pod Squad host Chad Blair to talk about his special relationship with the Republic of Palau, how he views the ongoing assimilation of Micronesian immigrants in Hawaii and a special event coming up July 23 in connection with the Friends of the Library of Hawaii annual book sale at McKinley High School.
