By April Estrellon /

In this episode of Pod Squad host Chad Blair and producer April Estrellon visited Kelii Akina at his new office at the Office of Hawaiian Affairs. Akina has long been a supporter of Hawaiian entitlements but is not a fan using public money to further federal recognition for Native Hawaiians, which he considers to be race-based.

OHA trustee Kelli Akina met with the Pod Squad at his office in the Office of Hawaiian Affairs headquarters.
